About The Position

As a Security Officer Access Authorization in Bradenton, Florida, you will serve and safeguard clients in a residential setting. You will monitor entry points, verify authorized access, maintain a welcoming and professional presence for residents and visitors, conduct routine patrols, help deter incidents, and provide clear communication and customer service. This is a driving position requiring a valid driver’s license. The role is full-time, with scheduled shifts from 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday. The listed pay rate is $19.00 per hour.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license, in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation, in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
State or local licensing may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and visitors while following site-specific access control procedures and security policies.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, maintain visitor logs, and direct authorized individuals to appropriate areas.
Respond calmly and courteously to access concerns, resident requests, incidents, and critical situations; notify appropriate personnel or emergency services as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols of community entrances, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
Document daily activities, incidents, access exceptions, and observations according to company and site-specific reporting procedures.
