Security Licensed Officers - Montgomery
About The Position
Marksman Security is seeking licensed security officers for a distribution warehouse in Montgomery, New York. Officers uphold safety standards, enforce safety protocols, make confident decisions under pressure, and perform foot patrols, checkpoint duties, and gatehouse responsibilities. The position requires occasional crouching, stair climbing, kneeling, sitting, standing, stooping, and walking for extended periods. Full-time schedule: Thursday through Sunday, 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Part-time schedule: Saturday and Sunday, 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Pay is $20.00 per hour. Paid on-the-job training is provided.
Requirements
- New York Security License.
- New York Driver's License.
- Background in warehouse truck gate operations.
- Confident decision-making and decisiveness under pressure.
- Ability to perform occasional crouching, stair climbing, kneeling, sitting, standing, stooping, and extended periods of walking.
Responsibilities
- Verify credentials of incoming and outgoing individuals and vehicles.
- Patrol the interior and exterior perimeter to identify potential safety and security risks.
- Respond swiftly and effectively to alarms, emergencies, and safety hazards.
- Perform foot patrols, checkpoint duties, and gatehouse responsibilities.
- Uphold safety standards and enforce safety protocols.
- Perform other duties as determined by operations.
