About The Position

Securitas is hiring for security officer positions, including Armed Security Officers, Licensed Security Officers, and Event Officers. Security Officers observe and report activities and incidents at an assigned client site, helping protect client property and personnel. Positions are available full-time and part-time, across all shifts, including weekends. The listed pay rate is $17.00 per hour for unarmed positions and $20.00 per hour for armed positions. Applicants must meet applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements. The role involves frequent sitting, standing, and walking, sometimes for long periods, and may include climbing stairs or walking on inclines and uneven terrain. Physical duties can also include frequent lifting or moving items up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting or moving items up to 25 pounds. Requirements

Be at least 18 years old.
Pass a lifetime background check and drug test.
Have a valid driver's license.
Have a high school diploma or GED.
Have excellent communication and customer service skills and maintain a professional demeanor.
Meet and continue to meet applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guards.
Meet the company's professional appearance policy; visible body-piercing accessories or visible tattoos are not permitted unless authorized.
Be able to perform the stated physical duties, including frequent sitting, standing, walking, and lifting or moving items.
