About The Position

Marksman Security is hiring Licensed Security Officers for an Aurora data center. Officers will use data center systems, CCTV, and VMS while controlling ingress and egress and conducting rounds. The schedule is Friday through Monday, 3 p.m. to 11 p.m., at $21.00 per hour. Applicants must have a valid PERC security license, a valid driver’s license, and reliable transportation. The role requires a professional demeanor and appearance and passing pre-employment background and drug screening.

Requirements

• High school degree or equivalent.
• Valid Illinois PERC license.
• Valid Illinois driver’s license.
• Reliable transportation.
• Professional demeanor and appearance.
• Ability to pass pre-employment background and drug screening.
• Ability to occasionally crouch, climb stairs, kneel, sit, stand, stoop, and walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Acknowledge and greet guests promptly and courteously.
• Manage guest and visitor access as needed, and remove trespassers or violators from the premises when necessary.
• Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms.
• Patrol interior and exterior perimeters to identify potential safety and security risks.
• Perform other duties as determined by operations.
• Control ingress and egress and conduct rounds.
