About The Position

Marksman Security is hiring licensed security officers for a data center in Aurora. Officers work with data center systems, CCTV, and VMS; control ingress and egress; and conduct rounds. The schedule is Friday through Monday, 3 p.m. to 11 p.m., at $21.00 per hour. Candidates must have a valid Illinois PERC security license, a valid driver's license, and reliable transportation. The role requires a professional demeanor and appearance and successful completion of pre-employment background and drug screening.

Requirements

• High school degree or equivalent.
• Valid Illinois PERC security license.
• Valid Illinois driver's license.
• Reliable transportation.

• Ability to pass pre-employment background and drug screening.
• Ability to occasionally crouch, climb stairs, kneel, sit, stand, stoop, and walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Acknowledge and greet guests promptly and courteously.
• Manage guest and visitor access as needed and eject trespassers or violators from the premises when necessary.
• Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms.
• Patrol the interior and exterior perimeter to identify potential safety and security risks.
• Perform other duties as determined by operations.
