About The Position

As a part-time Unarmed Foot Patrol Security Guard at a logistics and distribution location in Seekonk, Massachusetts, you will safeguard clients, employees, visitors, and deliveries. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment. The role emphasizes exceptional customer service, clear communication, teamwork, integrity, reliability, and a people-first approach. The posted schedule is Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. The position pays $18.69 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and team members by following security procedures and site-specific policies, and carrying out emergency response activities when appropriate.
Monitor access points, vehicle traffic, and visitor activity; verify credentials and follow site entry and exit procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking lots, trailers, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify appropriate site contacts or emergency responders according to established procedures.
Document patrols, incidents, observations, and access activity in daily activity reports and other required records.
