About The Position

As a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location in Hagerstown, Maryland, you will help safeguard clients, employees, and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, provide customer service, communicate clearly, and document observations. The role represents Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team-oriented, and integrity-driven values. The schedule is Friday and Saturday, 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The pay rate is $18.57 per hour. Additional shifts may be viewed and claimed through the company’s Claim a Shift platform.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Undergo a background investigation, subject to applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Undergo a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements; licensing may be required before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and team members by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing, warehouse, loading, parking, and perimeter areas; identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy concerns.
Monitor access points, verify authorized entry as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate visitor, vehicle, and incident documentation.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency services when needed.
Observe activity, communicate clearly with personnel, and report security-related concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site management.
