About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Guard to serve and safeguard clients in industries including commercial real estate, healthcare, education, and government. The role involves providing customer service while carrying out safety and security procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate. Guards respond calmly to incidents and critical situations and conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter. Work environments and conditions may vary by client site. Paid orientation and on-the-job training are provided. The starting wage is $18.00 per hour. A valid driver's license is required for driving positions.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles or 21 years old or older for armed roles.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent, or five years of verifiable experience.
• Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• Have a valid driver's license for driving positions.
• Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out safety and security procedures and site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
