About The Position

As a Security Guard Unarmed Perimeter Patrol in Plainfield, Indiana, you will help safeguard a technology, media, and telecommunications location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor access points, and support badge access procedures. You will provide customer service and clear communication while responding to security-related concerns. The role is full-time and pays $17.75 per hour. The listed schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements prior to employment, where required.

Nice To Haves

Access control and badge experience is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, offices, common areas, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter locations to identify and report unusual activity or potential security concerns.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report unauthorized access attempts or suspicious behavior.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; contact appropriate personnel and document actions taken according to site procedures.
Prepare activity reports, incident reports, and shift logs, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.
