About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Security Guard for perimeter patrol and surveillance duties in Clear Lake, Texas. The role involves monitoring security systems and scanning for suspicious activity, documenting events, responding to potential threats, and conducting regular patrols to help protect people and property. The guard also controls access to secure areas, verifies visitors’ identities and documentation, analyzes security systems for vulnerabilities or malfunctions, collaborates with law enforcement during serious incidents, and creates badges using badge management systems and computer applications. The schedule is Wednesday through Friday from 5:00 p.m. to 11:59 p.m., Saturday from 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. The position pays $15.45 per hour. A uniform is provided at no cost. Employment is contingent on successfully completing a background check and drug screening after an offer is extended.

Requirements

Be authorized to work in the United States.
Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
Pass an extensive screening process, including a background check and drug screening after an offer of employment.
Have strong report-writing skills.
Have sharp visual activity and exceptional concentration skills.
Have strong proficiency with technology.
Hold a state license if required.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Have a valid driver's license with no restriction B and a clean driving record.
Demonstrate a stable work history.
Have reliable transportation.
Be able to climb stairs, walk, stand, and sit for long periods.
