About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time unarmed Security Guard for site observation patrol at a logistics and distribution location in Jeffersonville, Indiana. The role involves monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and supporting a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and deliveries. The officer provides customer service and clear communication while responding to site needs with integrity, teamwork, reliability, agility, and innovation. The schedule is Saturday from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM and Sunday from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The pay rate is $18.00 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or drivers while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the distribution facility, loading areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access to the location by verifying visitor, vendor, and driver credentials in accordance with site-specific procedures.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner and report observations through required channels.
Document patrols, incidents, access activity, and unusual conditions in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific reporting procedures.
