About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a security guard for a warehouse site in Newbury Park, California. The role focuses on monitoring security systems and identifying threats, documenting incidents, responding to potential emergencies, conducting patrols, controlling access, and helping protect people and property. The position is scheduled for 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM.

Requirements

• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Have a state security license (BSIS Guard Card) and additional 32-hour BSIS security training; additional training may be obtained during the hiring process.
• Strong report-writing skills.
• Good eyesight and an excellent ability to maintain focus.
• Strong proficiency with technology.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems to detect suspicious activity.
• Document observed events and incidents and write detailed reports.
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats.
• Conduct regular patrols to help ensure the safety of the premises.
• Control access to secure areas and verify visitors' identities.
• Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions.
• Collaborate with law enforcement in serious situations or emergencies.
• Help ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property.
