About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Guard to serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. The role involves providing customer service while carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities. Guards respond calmly and constructively to incidents and critical situations, and conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter. Work environments and conditions may vary by client site. The listed pay rate is $21.85 per hour.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent, or five years of verifiable experience.
• Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any licensing requirements that apply under state or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required before employment.
• Have a valid driver's license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out safety and security procedures and site-specific policies, and conducting emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
