About The Position

Join a close-knit team at one of San Francisco's premier luxury retail flagships. This is an active position rather than a static post. The Security Guard will be the first face guests see and a calm presence on a busy retail floor, helping manage crowds and maintain a professional, welcoming environment.

The schedule is Thursday through Sunday, 10:30 AM to 7:15 PM, for about 32 hours per week. Pay is $26.50 per hour. The San Francisco location is BART/Muni accessible. Interviews are being scheduled, and the requested start is ASAP.

Requirements

• Have a valid California Guard Card (BSIS), or have one in process and active before the first shift.
• Have at least 1 year of experience in security, law enforcement, military, corrections, events, or hospitality.
• Remain calm under pressure, communicate well, and maintain a professional appearance.
• Be dependable and punctual for every shift.

Nice To Haves

• Retail or crowd-control experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests at the entrance and maintain a visible, alert presence on the floor.
• Manage guest flow during peak hours, product launches, and special events.
• Calmly de-escalate disruptive situations.
• Handle access control, log deliveries, and track high-value merchandise.
• Partner with store leadership on incident reports and daily operations.
