About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time unarmed patrol Security Guard at a financial institution location in St. Petersburg, Florida. The role involves helping safeguard employees and visitors by patrolling the facility and surrounding areas, monitoring access and visitor activity, responding to incidents, and communicating security concerns. The position emphasizes customer service, clear communication, reliability, teamwork, and maintaining a welcoming environment. The scheduled hours are Thursday from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM and Friday from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM. The pay rate is $19.00 per hour. Employees can use Allied Universal’s Claim a Shift platform to view and claim additional shifts. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Undergo a background investigation, subject to applicable laws.
Undergo a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
Have a valid driver’s license only if working in a driving position.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter; identify and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and unauthorized access.
Monitor access points and visitor activity according to site procedures, maintain accurate logs, and direct guests to appropriate locations.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
Prepare timely incident and activity reports and communicate relevant observations to Allied Universal leadership and site personnel.
