About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Security Guard Experienced Unarmed Patrol Access Support in Palmetto, Georgia, at a logistics and distribution location. The role serves and safeguards clients by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible security presence, supporting access control, and communicating professionally with employees and visitors. The Security Guard helps maintain an orderly environment while providing customer-focused service through teamwork, reliability, agility, innovation, and integrity. The site has limited on-site facilities, including portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.

The position pays $20.00 per hour. Scheduled shifts are 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday. Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state and local licensing requirements; licensing may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of logistics and distribution areas, including the facility perimeter, parking areas, loading docks, and access points.
• Monitor access activity and report unusual conditions, policy violations, or potential hazards to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and professionally, using problem-solving skills, and document observations and actions taken.
• Help deter unauthorized access and maintain awareness of activity around the location.
