About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Security Guard to serve and safeguard clients at a commercial real estate location in Charlotte, North Carolina. The unarmed patrol role involves monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, supporting access control, and providing customer service and clear communication to help create a welcoming environment. The schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturday from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The pay rate is $19.10 per hour.

Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience.
At least 21 years of age.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing may be required before employment, subject to state and local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security procedures and site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, tenant concerns, access-related issues, and critical situations.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of building common areas, parking facilities, exterior grounds, and perimeter areas.
Monitor and report unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, suspicious activity, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation in accordance with site requirements and company procedures.
