About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer to support a government location in Anchorage, Alaska. The position involves providing customer service and carrying out site-specific security procedures, conducting unarmed patrols, monitoring access and visitor activity, responding to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, and documenting activity. This is a driving post and requires a valid driver’s license under Allied Universal’s driver policy. The listed pay rate is $20.15 per hour. The schedule is Friday and Saturday, 12:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements; required for driving positions.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing may be required before employment, subject to state and/or local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and members of the public while carrying out site-specific security procedures and policies at government facilities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, parking areas, public access points, and surrounding perimeters; identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, following established entry, identification, and notification procedures.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations according to site-specific emergency response procedures.
Prepare accurate reports and maintain activity logs, incident documentation, and communication with Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
