About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Unarmed Patrol Officer in Mount Morris, Michigan, supporting a technology, media, and telecommunications location. The role involves routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitoring access points, and providing professional customer service and communication. This is a driving post and requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. The officer serves employees, visitors, vendors, and contractors by following security procedures and site-specific policies and, when appropriate, taking part in emergency response activities. The position also involves responding calmly to incidents and access concerns, documenting observations and irregularities, and helping maintain a welcoming environment.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required for this driving position and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

CPR and First Aid certification.
Customer service experience.
Comfort using a computer or tablet.
Access control and badge experience.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and contractors by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations calmly, escalating information through established communication channels.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, parking areas, entrances, and the surrounding perimeter.
Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures.
Document observations, incidents, and irregularities in required reports.
Maintain a professional presence and support a welcoming environment for personnel and visitors.
