About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Guard Enhanced Part Time Patrol Operations in South San Francisco, California. The position offers a fixed weekly shift at an assigned site, with a six-month commitment to that schedule. Employees may also claim additional shifts through the scheduling platform, providing flexibility to supplement income and potentially build up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week.

The role involves unarmed patrols and security support at distribution areas, parking areas, loading docks, trailer yards, and the property perimeter. The hourly pay rate is $22.70. The listed schedule is Sunday, 10:00 PM–6:00 AM.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require candidates to be at least 21.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• Have a valid driver’s license if the position involves driving.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and delivery personnel by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies and, when appropriate, carrying out emergency response activities.
• Respond calmly to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations, following site-specific reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout distribution areas, parking areas, loading docks, trailer yards, and the property perimeter.
• Monitor access points and support visitor, contractor, and driver entry procedures in accordance with site requirements.
• Observe and report unusual activity, damaged property, and policy violations to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal supervision.
