About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time unarmed patrol officer to serve and safeguard clients at a logistics and distribution location in Grove City, Ohio. The officer will maintain a visible presence, conduct routine patrols, report observations, support access control, and provide professional customer service and communication to employees, visitors, and drivers. The listed schedule is Monday and Tuesday, 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Pay is $17.98 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be 21 or older.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
Have a valid driver’s license if applying for a driving position.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and/or contractors while following security procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, trailer yards, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to identify unusual activity or conditions.
Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and document visitor, driver, and contractor activity.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify appropriate personnel and prepare accurate reports.
Observe package-handling and transportation areas for security concerns, help maintain orderly traffic flow, and report policy violations or hazards to site leadership.
