About The Position

Security Officers at Rock & Brews Casino monitor and patrol casino property to help ensure the safety and security of guests, employees, and property. They assess and resolve security incidents, enforce regulatory compliance and internal policies, assist with emergency response procedures, and promote a safe, welcoming, and controlled environment. The role requires flexibility to work any shift as needed or assigned, including weekends, evenings, and holidays. Physical duties include standing or sitting for extended periods, running, frequently lifting items occasionally exceeding 50 pounds, and pushing heavy carts.

Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED and a current driver’s license. Preference is given to candidates with CLEET certification and experience in law enforcement or security. Applicants must obtain CLEET certification within six months of employment if not already certified. Candidates must pass background and drug screening under Kaw Nation Gaming Commission regulations to obtain a gaming license; medical marijuana cards are accepted.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol casino property.
• Help ensure the safety and security of guests, employees, and property by assessing and resolving security incidents.
• Enforce casino policies, procedures, regulatory requirements, and applicable gaming regulations.
• Escort casino assets and property during transportation between locations.
• Provide crowd control and assist local law enforcement during emergencies or critical incidents.
• Monitor guest behavior and respond promptly and professionally to disturbances, disputes, or suspicious activity.
• Assist with investigations, write detailed incident reports, and maintain accurate activity logs.
• Maintain awareness and readiness to respond to emergencies, fire alarms, or potential security threats.
• Escort guests or employees as needed, including removing individuals from the property when required.
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor while conducting company business.
• Follow applicable state, federal, and tribal laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Perform duties outside normal responsibilities as needed.
