About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring an unarmed Security Officer Patrol Inspection to serve and safeguard clients at a logistics and distribution location in Minooka, Illinois. The role involves monitoring and patrolling the site, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, observing site activity, reporting concerns, and providing customer service and clear communication. The position is full-time, pays $17.50 per hour, and is scheduled Monday through Thursday from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by following security procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond calmly to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations, escalating matters according to site procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, perimeter, loading docks, parking areas, trailer yards, and other assigned areas.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, and maintain accurate logs for employees, visitors, drivers, and deliveries.
Report hazards, damaged property, suspicious activity, and policy violations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
