About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring an Access Control Security Guard to identify potential threats and help maintain site security, including in an office-building environment. The role involves controlling access, monitoring site activity, conducting routine patrols, keeping accurate records, and responding to irregularities according to established procedures. The position is part-time and based in Malvern, Pennsylvania, at a site that is not accessible by public transportation. The schedule is Friday from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m., totaling 21 hours per week. The hourly wage is $19.06. Uniforms are provided at no cost. Employment is contingent on successfully completing a background check and drug screening after an offer is extended.

Requirements

• Active driver's license.
• At least 1 year of security experience; access control, patrolling, or concierge experience is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to following procedures.
• Ability to remain alert during repetitive or routine tasks.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
• Ability to provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to pass an extensive screening process.
• Strong report-writing skills.
• Sharp visual activity and exceptional concentration skills.
• Strong proficiency with technology.
• State license, if required.

Responsibilities

• Control access for inbound and outbound visitors and verify paperwork.
• Maintain accurate logs, records, and incident reports.
• Conduct slow, routine patrols, scan designated scan points, and document data.
• Remain focused and professional while following procedures precisely.
• Monitor site activity, report irregularities, and escalate incidents as needed.
