About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Surveillance Security Guard to monitor security systems and premises, spot potential threats, and help protect people and property. The position is located in Plainfield, Indiana, and is part-time, Saturday through Sunday, on the third shift from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. The hourly wage is $17.75. Uniforms are provided at no cost. Employment is contingent on successfully completing a background check and drug screening after an offer is extended.

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Successfully pass an extensive screening process.
• Have strong report-writing skills.
• Have sharp visual activity and exceptional concentration skills.
• Have strong proficiency with technology.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems to detect suspicious activity.
• Document observed events and incidents in detailed reports.
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats.
• Conduct regular patrols to help ensure the safety of the premises.
• Control access to secure areas and verify visitors’ identities.
• Analyze security systems for potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions.
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious situations or emergencies.
• Help ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property.
