About The Position

As a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer at a technology-focused location in Lacey, Washington, you will help safeguard employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel. The role involves customer service, routine interior and exterior patrols, access-point monitoring, badge and credential support, incident response, and accurate reporting. Officers follow site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities, and communicate professionally with employees and visitors.

The schedule is Wednesday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The pay rate is $21.85 per hour. Allied Universal offers access to additional shifts through its Claim a Shift platform and provides paid training and career growth opportunities.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet licensing requirements that may apply under state or local laws and regulations, potentially before employment.

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by following site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, access concerns, alarms, and critical situations, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior spaces, exterior areas, parking facilities, entry points, and the business perimeter.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and direct authorized personnel according to site procedures.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications, and promptly report security-related observations to site leadership.
