About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time, unarmed Security Guard for badge verification at a residential property in San Francisco, California. The role involves safeguarding residents and visitors through visible patrols, access monitoring, alarm-panel monitoring, customer service, and accurate documentation. The scheduled shifts are Friday and Saturday, 5:30 AM–2:00 PM. The pay rate is $24.10 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Nice To Haves

Experience with access control and badge systems.
Customer service experience.
Experience with alarm panels.
A guard card or license.
Comfort using a computer or tablet.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff while following site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and property perimeters to identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or maintenance concerns.
Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site policies, document entries and incidents, and communicate relevant information to property management and Allied Universal leadership.
Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations professionally, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
Prepare accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation and maintain professional interactions with residents, guests, vendors, and staff.
