About The Position

Allegiance is hiring a Weekend Security Guard for a first-shift position at an industrial facility in Claremont, North Carolina. The schedule is Saturday and Sunday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., at $13.00 per hour. The role includes on-the-job training and involves supporting Allegiance management, following directives and post orders, monitoring security cameras, interacting tactfully with the public, and documenting security-related observations and incidents. The position requires standing or walking for extended periods on various surfaces and may involve investigations concerning loss of or damage to client property.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Ability to work all shifts.
• Ability to understand, interpret, and follow rules, instructions, and lawful orders.
• Ability to cope with stressful work situations.
• Physical stamina and dexterity.
• Knowledge of security operations and procedures.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to obtain a guard license.

Responsibilities

• Assist Allegiance management with delegated duties and functions.
• Follow written and verbal directives, post orders, Allegiance policies and procedures, and other directives.
• Stand or walk for extended periods on surfaces including tile, concrete, carpet, grass, and dirt.
• Monitor security cameras.
• Support public relations and awareness and deal tactfully with the public.
• Assist with investigations concerning loss of or damage to client property.
• Obtain detailed statements; write reports; interview, observe, and document information professionally.
• Detect building safety hazards, communicate them to appropriate staff, and follow mandated safety requirements.
