About The Position

Allegiance is hiring a Day Shift Weekend Security Guard for a manufacturing facility in Lexington, North Carolina. The schedule is Saturdays and Sundays from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. The role includes on-the-job training and involves carrying out security duties while following client and company policies, procedures, post orders, and directives. The guard will monitor security cameras, interact tactfully with the public, assist with investigations involving loss or damage to client property, and document observations and information professionally.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Ability to work all shifts.
• Ability to understand, interpret, and follow rules, instructions, and lawful orders.
• Ability to cope with stressful work situations.
• Physical stamina and dexterity.
• Knowledge of security operations and procedures.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to obtain a guard license.

Responsibilities

• Assist Allegiance management with delegated duties and functions.
• Follow written and verbal directives.
• Stand or walk for extended periods, potentially for an entire shift, on surfaces including tile, concrete, carpet, grass, and dirt.
• Monitor security cameras.
• Provide public relations and awareness and deal tactfully with the public.
• Assist with investigations concerning loss or damage of client property.
• Follow post orders, Allegiance policies and procedures, and other directives.
• Obtain detailed statements, write reports, interview and observe individuals, and document information professionally.
• Detect safety hazards within the building, communicate them to appropriate staff, and follow mandated safety requirements.
