About The Position

United Security, Inc. is hiring a part-time Weekend Security Guard to secure premises and personnel by patrolling property, monitoring surveillance equipment, and monitoring access points. The role includes investigating and reporting security breaches, incidents, and other alarming behavior, as well as complying with legal requirements to help maintain the organization’s stability and reputation. The schedule is Saturday from 7:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and Sunday from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Pay is $17 per hour, and free parking is available on location. Opportunities to move into a higher-paying position may be available within 3–6 months, depending on availability, performance, attendance, and other factors. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Active New York State Security License.
• Ability to stand for up to 8 hours.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to stay alert.
• Ability to work in high-pedestrian-traffic environments.

Nice To Haves

• Security experience is highly preferred.
• Driver’s license preferred.
