Night Shift Weekend Security Guard
About The Position
Allegiance is hiring a Night Shift Weekend Security Guard for a manufacturing facility in Lexington, North Carolina. The schedule is Saturdays and Sundays from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m. The role includes on-the-job training and is presented as either a long-term career opportunity or a stable opportunity to advance to another level. The Security Guard assists Allegiance management with delegated duties, follows directives and post orders, monitors security cameras, and interacts tactfully with the public. The role also involves assisting with investigations into loss or damage of client property; obtaining detailed statements; writing reports; and interviewing, observing, and documenting information professionally. The guard must be able to stand or walk for extended periods, potentially for an entire shift, on a variety of surfaces.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a background screening and drug screening.
- Ability to work all shifts.
- Ability to understand, interpret, and follow rules, instructions, and lawful orders.
- Ability to cope with stressful work situations.
- Physical stamina and dexterity.
- Knowledge of security operations and procedures.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to obtain a guard license.
Responsibilities
- Assist Allegiance management with delegated duties and functions.
- Follow written and verbal directives, post orders, Allegiance policies and procedures, and other directives.
- Stand or walk for extended periods on various surfaces, potentially for an entire shift.
- Monitor security cameras.
- Provide public relations and awareness and deal tactfully with the public.
- Assist in investigations concerning loss or damage of client property.
- Obtain detailed statements, write reports, and interview, observe, and document information professionally.
- Detect safety hazards in the building, communicate them to appropriate staff, and follow mandated safety requirements.
