About The Position
Allegiance is hiring a Security Guard for a manufacturing facility in Lexington, North Carolina. The schedule is Saturdays and Sundays from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m. The role involves providing security services, supporting Allegiance management, monitoring cameras, interacting tactfully with the public, and documenting observations and investigations. On-the-job training is provided.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Ability to work all shifts.
- Ability to understand, interpret, and follow rules, instructions, and lawful orders.
- Ability to cope with stressful work situations.
- Physical stamina and dexterity.
- Knowledge of security operations and procedures.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to obtain a guard license.
Responsibilities
- Assist Allegiance management with delegated duties and functions.
- Follow written and verbal directives, post orders, Allegiance policies and procedures, and other directives.
- Stand or walk constantly for multiple hours, potentially for an entire shift, on surfaces including tile, concrete, carpet, grass, and dirt.
- Monitor security cameras.
- Support public relations and awareness and deal tactfully with the public.
- Assist with investigations concerning loss of or damage to client property.
- Obtain detailed statements; write reports; interview, observe, and document information professionally.
- Detect safety hazards in the building, communicate them to appropriate staff, and follow mandated safety requirements.
