About The Position

As a Security Guard - Driver Patrol in Bensenville, Illinois, you will serve and safeguard clients at a technology, media, and telecommunications location. This is an unarmed driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, provide customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related needs while contributing through teamwork, integrity, agility, reliability, and innovation.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required for this driving position and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, office areas, parking facilities, entry points, and perimeter areas; identify and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials according to site procedures, and direct guests to appropriate locations.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; promptly communicate observations to site contacts and emergency responders as appropriate.
Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation while maintaining a professional presence.
