About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time, unarmed Security Guard for a manufacturing and industrial location in Appleton, Wisconsin. The guard conducts routine patrols, maintains a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and supports a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. The position emphasizes exceptional customer service, clear communication, integrity, and responding to site needs. The schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 12:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The pay rate is $17.48 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Undergo a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Undergo a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements imposed by state or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing and industrial facilities, including production areas, access points, parking areas, and the property perimeter.
Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as required, and report unauthorized persons, unusual conditions, and policy concerns.
Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, follow site procedures, and notify appropriate personnel.
Complete detailed activity reports and communicate observations that help deter theft, trespassing, and other security-related concerns.
