About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a weekend Security Guard in Pismo Beach, California. The officer monitors security systems and premises to identify suspicious activity and potential threats, responds to incidents, documents events, conducts patrols, controls access to secure areas, and helps protect people and property. The position is scheduled for 10 hours per week: Saturday from 10:00 AM to 3:30 PM and Sunday from 3:30 PM to 7:00 PM. The hourly wage is $19. Uniforms are provided at no cost. Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Hold a state security license (BSIS Guard Card) and have completed the additional 32 hours of BSIS security training; additional training may be obtained during the hiring process.
• Have strong report-writing skills.
• Have good eyesight and the ability to maintain focus.
• Have strong proficiency with technology.
