About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time unarmed patrol officer in Shakopee, Minnesota, serving a technology, media, and telecommunications location. The role involves driving patrols and requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. The officer conducts routine patrols, maintains a visible presence to help deter incidents, supports access control activities, and provides customer service and clear communication. The posted schedule is Monday and Tuesday from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The pay rate is $21.60 per hour.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
A high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors by following site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, access points, and the surrounding perimeter to identify unusual activity, hazards, and policy concerns.
Monitor access activity and verify visitor, contractor, and delivery authorization in accordance with site procedures.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; escalate concerns to appropriate personnel or emergency responders.
Complete accurate reports, logs, and incident documentation, and communicate observations and operational concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
