About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Patrol Unarmed Officer in Carleton, Michigan, serving a technology, media, and telecommunications location. The role involves driving patrols, maintaining a visible security presence, supporting access control, responding to incidents, and providing customer service. The schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Pay is $17.00 per hour.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing may be required before employment, subject to state and local laws and regulations.

Nice To Haves

CPR and First Aid experience.
Customer service experience.
Comfort using a computer or tablet.
Access control and badge experience.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors while following site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office spaces, common areas, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter; identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or maintenance concerns.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials, and direct guests to appropriate destinations.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following escalation and reporting protocols.
Prepare accurate activity and incident reports and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
