About The Position

As a part-time Security Guard Patrol Driver in Catonsville, Maryland, you will safeguard clients at a retail location by conducting routine unarmed patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. The role offers a schedule that may be supplemented with additional shifts through the Claim a Shift platform. The stated schedule is Monday, Saturday, and Sunday from 6:30 AM to 2:30 PM. Pay is $19.00 per hour.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required for this driving position and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
State or local licensing requirements may apply and may need to be met before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, associates, and visitors by following security procedures and site-specific policies and, when appropriate, carrying out emergency response activities.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations, using problem-solving skills.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of sales areas, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter of the retail location.
Observe and report suspicious activity, hazards, policy violations, and other security-related concerns to appropriate site personnel.
Assist with access control and visitor interactions.
Document incidents and daily activities in accordance with site procedures.
