About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer to support an educational community. The role involves safeguarding students, staff, families, and visitors through routine campus patrols, access monitoring, incident response, accurate documentation, and welcoming customer service. The position is scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, and pays $17.00 per hour. Applicants are subject to a background investigation and drug screen, as permitted by law. Applicable licensing may be required under state or local regulations.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to students, staff, families, and visitors while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, grounds, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Monitor access points and visitor activity according to site procedures; direct guests and report unauthorized access or unusual activity.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and critical events, notifying appropriate school personnel and emergency responders when needed.
Accurately document patrols, incidents, and observations and communicate relevant information to supervisors and site personnel.
