About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer for patrol and access control at a manufacturing and industrial location. The unarmed patrol role involves conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help deter incidents, and supporting a welcoming environment through customer service and communication. This is a driving position requiring a valid driver’s license. Site conditions and working environments may vary by client.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; applicants for armed roles must be at least 21.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent, or five years of verifiable experience.
• Have a valid driver’s license for driving positions.
• Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• Submit to a background investigation and, where permitted by law, a drug screen as conditions of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out safety and security procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations using problem-solving skills.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter.
