About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Surveillance Security Officer to monitor security systems and identify threats in settings such as security operations centers, call centers, and parking gatehouses. The role is based in Aurora, Illinois, and is scheduled part time on Saturdays and Sundays from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. The hourly wage is $18.87. A uniform is provided at no cost. Employment is contingent on passing a background check and drug screening after an offer is extended.

Requirements

• Hold a valid Illinois PERC.
• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Pass an extensive screening process, including a background check and drug screening after an offer.
• Have strong report-writing skills.
• Have sharp visual activity and exceptional concentration skills.
• Have strong proficiency with technology.
• Hold a state license if required.

• Security, military, or law enforcement experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems to detect suspicious activity.
• Document observed events and incidents in detailed reports.
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats.
• Conduct regular patrols to help ensure the safety of the premises.
