About The Position

The Security Guard is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for clients, employees, and property at Tact Tech Security Solutions. The role involves enforcing safety procedures, monitoring access, responding to incidents, and preventing illegal or inappropriate activity. The ideal candidate is disciplined and vigilant, demonstrates sound judgment, remains calm under pressure, and upholds high standards of safety, professionalism, and customer service in a dynamic security environment.

Requirements

• Minimum age of 18.
• High school diploma or equivalent, or five years of verifiable experience.
• Valid Security Guard D License.
• Valid Florida driver’s license.
• Ability to work weekends as required.
• Successful completion of a background investigation and drug screening as permitted by law.
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and ethical judgment.
• Knowledge of public safety and security procedures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience as a Security Guard or in a similar public safety role.
• Ability to operate surveillance equipment.
• Strong report-writing and documentation skills.
• Attention to detail and strong observational skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provide safety and security services according to site-specific policies, procedures, and emergency response protocols.
• Monitor and patrol premises to prevent unauthorized access, theft, or other unsafe activities.
• Check in and verify residents and/or guests seeking access to the property.
• Call residents to verify guest authorization when required.
• Respond promptly and professionally to emergencies or security incidents.
• Interact courteously and professionally with clients, guests, and employees, and help ensure a welcoming and secure environment for visitors.
• Prepare accurate and timely reports on incidents, irregularities, or unusual occurrences.
• Maintain records in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
