About The Position

Cypress Village is hiring a Security Guard for full-time or part-time work at its senior living community in Jacksonville, Florida. The position helps maintain a secure environment for residents, employees, and guests by responding to emergency calls, conducting scheduled rounds, keeping accurate records, notifying appropriate personnel about emergencies, and assisting with community events.

Requirements

• D Class License required.
• CPR/First Aid certification required; it is acceptable if renewal is needed.
• Must have weekend flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Respond to the emergency response system according to standard operating procedures, including maintaining door unlock logs, e-call logs, and doctor run sheets.
• Perform scheduled rounds inside and outside buildings to maintain a secure environment.
• Maintain timely and accurate reports and logs, including incident reports, safety inspections, repair and service requests, emergency call logs, and doctor run sheets.
• Immediately notify appropriate personnel of emergencies, including the Executive Director and/or Administrator, Department Heads, Supervisor, and Health Center Charge Nurse.
• Assist management at marketing and other community events with traffic direction, guest check-in, parking, and security as needed.
