About The Position

As a part-time Security Guard at a commercial real estate location in San Francisco, California, you will provide a welcoming, professional presence for tenants, visitors, and guests. You will manage property access, monitor security-related systems, respond to alarms and incidents, and deliver customer service and communication. The role is scheduled for Saturdays and Sundays from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM and pays $25.90 per hour.

Requirements

At least five years of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age or older for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to drug screening to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations.

Alarm panel experience.
Comfort using a computer or tablet.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service at the commercial real estate front desk while following site-specific security procedures and policies.
Monitor property access, verify visitor credentials, maintain visitor logs, and issue access credentials according to site requirements.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify appropriate personnel and support emergency response activities as directed.
Maintain a professional lobby presence, answer phones, provide directions, and assist tenants and visitors with inquiries.
Accurately and promptly document daily activities, incidents, and access-related information.
