About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time, unarmed patrol driver for an assigned utility location in San Francisco, California. The position offers a fixed weekly anchor shift with a six-month commitment, plus the option to claim additional shifts through the company scheduling platform. Additional hours may allow the employee to build toward a schedule of up to 40 hours per week, with the option to scale back. The posted schedule is Friday, 3:00 PM–11:30 PM, and the pay rate is $25.80 per hour. The site has limited on-site facilities, including portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.

Requirements

• At least two years of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements; required for driving positions.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to drug screening to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and the public by following site procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency-response activities.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, hazardous-condition reports, and critical situations, following notification and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, grounds, parking areas, perimeters, and restricted locations.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as assigned, document visitor and contractor activity, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual conditions.
• Prepare accurate activity and incident reports and communicate relevant information to site contacts, supervisors, and emergency responders as needed.
