About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed patrol officer for a commercial real estate location in Charlotte, North Carolina. The role involves maintaining a visible security presence, conducting routine patrols, communicating professionally with tenants and visitors, recording observations using computer or tablet technology, and providing customer-focused support. The position is scheduled Monday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM and pays $17.50 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old for an unarmed role.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation, subject to applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements before employment, if required.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors by following security procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond calmly to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations, escalating matters according to site-specific procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols of property interiors, exterior areas, parking facilities, common areas, and perimeter boundaries to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and building activity, reporting unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and security incidents to appropriate personnel.
Complete activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation according to company and site-specific requirements.
