About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Guard Enhanced Part Time Access Control Patrol in San Francisco, California. The role provides reliable, consistent hours at an assigned commercial real estate site, with the option to claim additional shifts through a scheduling platform. The designated site and weekly anchor shift require a six-month commitment. The role is intended for part-time work, with the opportunity to increase hours up to 40 per week and the option to scale back.

The hourly pay rate is $25.60. The listed schedule is Sunday, 11:00 PM–7:30 AM. The Security Guard provides customer service to tenants, visitors, and employees; carries out site-specific security procedures and emergency response activities; patrols the property; monitors access and visitor activity; and documents activity and incidents.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on applicable state and local laws and may be required before employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and employees by carrying out site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the building, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, provide directions and assistance, and maintain accurate activity and incident documentation.
• Support a professional environment for office and media operations by communicating clearly with site personnel, visitors, and responding agencies as appropriate.
