About The Position

As a Security Officer Perimeter Patrol in Minooka, Illinois, you will serve and safeguard clients in a logistics and distribution setting. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and deliveries. You will communicate clearly, respond to concerns, provide customer service, and reflect Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, care, teamwork, and integrity. This is a full-time position paying $17.50 per hour. The listed schedule is Wednesday through Sunday, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements that apply under state or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond calmly and use problem-solving skills when addressing incidents, access concerns, and critical situations.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the distribution facility, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter to identify unusual activity or conditions.
Monitor access points and vehicle traffic, verify authorized entry as directed by site procedures, and report discrepancies to appropriate personnel.
Accurately document patrol findings, incidents, and observations, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
