About The Position

As a full-time unarmed patrol officer at an aerospace and defense location in Rolling Meadows, Illinois, you will safeguard clients by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence, and providing customer service and clear communication. You will support a professional environment through routine rounds, reporting, and collaboration with site personnel. The position pays $23.32 per hour and requires an active DoD Secret clearance.

Requirements

Possess an active DoD Secret clearance.
Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements prior to employment, if required.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors while following security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas.
Monitor access activity and report unusual conditions, attempted unauthorized entry, and other security concerns according to site procedures.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents and critical situations, and notify appropriate site contacts or emergency responders.
Accurately and promptly complete activity logs, incident reports, and other documentation.
