About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed Security Guard to support a leading technology location in Santa Clara, California. This driving position serves and safeguards employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible security presence, following site-specific access and emergency procedures, and providing customer service. The role involves teamwork, integrity, clear communication, and responding calmly to incidents.

Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience.
A valid driver's license, required for this driving position and in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
A high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

CPR/First Aid certification.
A Guard Card/License.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter areas, and report hazards, irregular conditions, and maintenance concerns.
Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site policies to help deter unauthorized entry and support a professional environment.
Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, follow established security procedures, and notify appropriate personnel.
Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, patrol activities, and observed conditions.
